Every Virtuo customer is permitted to cross borders with their vehicle, but those renting an electric car may encounter difficulties charging abroad due to variations in charging badge compatibility by Virtuo country.
Virtuo customers can drive to any European countries, but they need to purchase the “Cross Border Protection” if they want to visit these countries:
The United Kingdom,
Switzerland,
Andorra,
Monaco,
San Marino
Outside of EU, our insurance does not cover anymore, so you are fully responsible for the car.
Please make sure you meet all the requirements for driving abroad, including holding an International Driving Permit where applicable.
