What is the mileage policy at virtuo?
Included mileage
Each rental includes 150 km per day (UK: 100 miles per day) free of charge. This mileage is part of the base price and is not refundable.
Extra mileage purchased in advance
You can add extra mileage at €0.12/km (UK: £0.12/mile), when booking or during the rental via the app ("Modify my booking"), up to 500 km per day (UK: 400 miles/day) and 3,500 km per 30-day period (UK: 2,400 miles).
When a booking is modified, only the extra-mileage option is recalculated: it is normal that its amount changes or that a partial refund appears. The included 150 km/day stay unchanged.
Mileage beyond your package (not purchased in advance)
Any mileage driven beyond your package that was not purchased in advance is charged automatically at the end of the rental at €0.35/km (UK: £0.35/mile).
Important: €0.12/km is ONLY the price of extra mileage bought in advance. Never present it as the price of excess mileage charged at the end of the rental.
