How to start the car?
You can lock and unlock the car using the virtual key located in the Virtuo app.Once you’ve completed the damage report in the Virtuo app, you can start your Tesla. Starting the car is simple: press the brake pedal for a few seconds and wait for the indicator lights to appear on the left of the screen. These lights show that the car is ready to go!
How to open the glove box?
The Tesla includes an automatically controlled glove box, you open it directly through the Vehicle tab on your onboard computer. On the menu, press the ‘Glovebox’ option located at the bottom corner of the touchscreen. The glove box must be closed manually. You can also use the vocal command option button on the right side of your driving wheel.
How to use Autopilot?
Your Tesla is equipped with a driver assistance feature which will make your longer journeys a bit more comfortable. Cruise control : This activates directly from the right lever behind the steering wheel, and can be lowered when you are in a fast lane. Assistance for staying in the lane: This is an autopilot which will allow you to keep your trajectory, but doesn’t change lanes for you. To activate this feature, lower the right hand lever behind the steering wheel twice. The assistance for staying in your lane puts your Tesla on semi-autonomous mode, it will control the steering within your lane, braking and acceleration, depending on the situation. It cannot be activated without the speed regulator. You can also adjust the speed regulations directly on the ‘autopilot’ tab in the control center. More information can be found here.
How to charge your phone?
A charging cable for your phone is provided in the car, your Tesla is equipped with 2 induction chargers available directly underneath the onboard computer.
How do I know much battery I have?
The battery level is always available and shown in miles on the central screen of the car.
How do I stop the engine?
Your Tesla does not have a key or a “start / stop” button. To turn off your car, press the "P" button at the end of the lever to the right of the steering wheel, get out and close the door. Lock the car from your app, the engine will turn off automatically.
How do I open the hood and the boot?
You will be able to control everything through the central screen of the Tesla. On this screen you will see a visualisation of the car and all the options to open the hood and boot.
How do use the voice command?
Your Tesla is equipped with a vocal command software that will allow you to communicate orally with the car. In order to do this, press on the button with a microphone on the touchscreen or press the same button on your steering wheel. Start speaking after the sound. Available voice commands include most of the functionalities found on the touchscreen, with the exception of commands related to driving.
How to adjust the seat and the steering wheel?
A Virtuo profile is available on the onboard computer with basic rules. If you’d like to adjust your driving seat, you will find the electronic commands to do so on the left side of your seat.To adjust the driving wheel’s position, go to the onboard computer, select the ‘Vehicle’ icon, and on the control center select ‘driving wheel’, slide the scroll wheel on the left of the wheel to adjust it to your liking.
How do I adjust the mirrors?
To adjust the position of the mirrors, go to the central screen, select the 🚘 icon then, from the control center click on “rear view mirror” and finally slide the dial to the left on the steering wheel to adjust the orientation of your vehicle mirror.
How do I connect bluetooth?
Connect your mobile phone: On the Telephone menu, you can connect your device to your Tesla via bluetooth. To do this, press on ‘connect telephone’, then ‘add a device’ and ‘Search’, after which you select your preferred device. A pairing code will appear on your phone, once it does all you have to do is press ‘pair’. This will allow you to listen to music and make phone calls directly from your phone to the car.
How do I control the temperature?
All the air conditioning, interior heating and seat heating settings are adjusted via the 4 buttons at the bottom of the car's central display. The seat icon will allow you to adjust the heating of the seats to 3 different levels. By pressing the button that looks like a fan you can adjust the temperature in the car.
